This Privacy Notice is issued by Luke Allnatt, trading as Ceptivo ("we", "us", "our", "Ceptivo"). We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the Ceptivo subscription platform. You can contact us at hello@ceptivo.com.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Identity & contact data: name, email, company, phone.
  • Account data: login credentials, authentication identifiers and dashboard activity.
  • Setup & website data: information from your business setup questionnaire and content you upload to your hosted website.
  • Subscription data: plan, renewal dates and billing status (payment card data is collected and stored by Paddle, not by us).
  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, basic telemetry.
  • Support data: messages and information you share when contacting us.

3. How and why we use your data

  • Provide and operate the platform, including hosted website access (contract performance).
  • Account creation, authentication and access control (contract performance).
  • Subscription management, renewals and entitlement (contract performance).
  • Customer support and communication (legitimate interests).
  • Security, fraud prevention and abuse monitoring (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
  • Improving the platform and product analytics (legitimate interests).
  • Marketing where permitted by law and never without an unsubscribe option (consent or legitimate interests).

4. Sharing your data

We share personal data with:

  • Cloud and infrastructure providers that host, run, monitor and back up the platform.
  • Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record, who handles the sale of our subscriptions, payment processing, billing, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance) when reasonably required.
  • Authorities and regulators where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out above, to comply with our legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ceptivo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect your personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk continuously.
